Back then i was amazed by it and it actually made me motivated to go into game dev myself. But first time i heard that while creating game and all weapon upgrading system (adding blocks, which was cool itself), while adding various thing, he made another tool to easly create and save his creations based on simple x,y,z. I followed Cube World and Wollay's posts pretty much since beginning, actually kind of adored him, i know rn, that stuff he did, in game dev arent really genius. Its not like it was always like that, as far as i was able to play now, saddly i enjoyed way more alpha (was perfect in its way, just simple adding content would probably be more than enough) Not sure if you just overdo it with trying to make this game not like any other or what, but something is not right.Īctually my hype and love for this game, could easly make me igore all of that, but after all the problems while i still cant even play with my buddy, im asking what happend? ![]() all those small details, all those small unintuitive details make this game really unplayable. Of course i can see many nice feautures (and improvements) like map scrolling, whole region thingy, but because of many problems, even small like when as mage, you try to equip golden rings, you need to left click one, and right click second one to acutally equip them, because left clicking second wont equip it to free slot. learned that there are no levels, skills dont exist, right? you have all of them from start (was sure i saw in some wollay's yt video's title 'skill system' or smth but after watching video 2 times didnt find anything about it). ![]() of course once more had to google that you have to actually find city to fly (which was impossible anyway + 3min latency). How? Can't really comment how map is more annoying that helpful (but this one i think we can get use to with time), but after some troubles we finally joined, my friend was 75k km away from me 75k. Not sure how you were able from perfectly working game, you made that we see our char with 2-3min latency. After little rage with even trying to launch the game (some missing win7 files as i learned), we created our characters and joined our games, while being positivly schocked how nice joining and whole social menu works, i learned that its actually doesnt. had to wait until steam release) bought it with friend and we tried to play it. ![]() So after hearing its going to be released on steam, without waiting (well. 13h! Most today games can't even make us play so long in total. I loved cube world alpha, everything worked perfectly, first time i launched the game with my friend we played straight 13h.
